Botox®Cosmetic Type A by Allergan is an injectable toxin
to reduce dynamic wrinkles caused by the activity of the underlying muscles.
When injected in small quantities into specific muscles, Botox®inactivates
these muscles temporarily reducing the wrinkles. If the wrinkles are very
deep, a filler might be necessary to smooth out. Most commonly used to
reduce the glabellar frown line and forehead lines, Botox® became very
popular as it works reliably. After injection, Botox® starts to work in
about 48-72 hrs and will last about 3 - 4 months. A repeat injection is
necessary as the action starts to wear off .
Dr. Chowdary has extensive experience in using Botox® for several years. He is a GOLD member. He has been using Botox®for the last 4 years.
He has a large patient population for Botox®.As with any procedure there
are complications with Botox® injections. However, if injected properly
with the correct amount into the specific muscles and by following a few
simple post injection precautions, complications can be minimized. |
